saimox — LISTEN
================================================================================

There is no audio file in this kit, and that is deliberate. A downloaded .smxd
would need a player installed before it does anything. These links open the
piece in your browser — nothing to install, no account.

Press Play in the transport bar above the cover image to start. Browsers do not
allow audio to begin on its own, so the first click is yours.

Headphones are recommended — the piece is rendered binaurally on your machine and
follows your head if your headphones can report movement. Loudspeakers work too;
the same file folds to whatever is actually connected.

The Seamphony
symphonic epic · 8:04 min

An orchestral piece with individual sections placed around and above the
listener. Useful if you want to hear what "objects stay objects" means in
practice: the strings do not sit in a stereo image, they sit in positions.

Open the object list while it plays. Solo any one of them, watch its
coordinates move, and hear that they match. That is the whole claim in one
panel: these are not channels with a spatial impression, they are objects
with positions, and you can check it yourself.

Try turning your head, or dragging inside the player window.

STRiNX

Electronic production with moving elements. The motion here is described rather
than drawn — the trajectories are patterns running at playback time, not
thousands of stored positions.

RIGHTS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both pieces are own productions. Composition, performance and recording rights
are held by Desteba Productions S.L. and are cleared for editorial use in
connection with reporting on saimox — including embedding, excerpting for a
video piece, and playback at a public presentation.

No separate permission is needed and no royalty is due. An attribution is
appreciated but not required.

Different material, a specific genre, a longer piece, or a file you can open in
the application yourself — ask and you get it, usually the same day.
